The shop
A counter, a rail, and a standard.
Oriole Cleaners sits on Beaver Street in the heart of Sewickley, and it has been Bill Gottschalk's for twenty-five years. Every garment that comes over the counter is inspected by hand and finished by hand before it goes back on the rail.
In December 2025 we took over the service operations of Carl Herrmann Furs and brought them home as Pittsburgh Fur Storage — with a new climate- and humidity-controlled vault built on site, and the same hands that Herrmann clients have known for years.
Small by choice. If you have a question about a garment, you'll be talking to the people who will actually work on it.
